Many months ago during the middle of the summer, I was in bed sketching when a series of beautifully inspiring images rushed through my being. I had been thinking of fond memories from high above on the coastal hills in Costa Rica, Hawaii and Brazil overlooking the tropical waters and trees below. I love watching birds soar imagining what it must feel like. I really wanted to push my style into a more stylized paradigm and try and capture that feeling with this piece.
