"Burning Inspiration" is an original Oil Painting on Panel by Artist Jay Alders (www.JayAlders.com)

It depicts local beach life, with two musicians having an acoustic jam session on the beach under a full moon.

This painting is featured on the cover of Echo Movement's CD, "In the Ocean"

Burning Inspiration is but one brilliant jewel in ~jayalders's sweeping and expansive gallery. Vivid in every aspect from the toasty palette to the sophisticated stylisation, this piece takes us right there to where the breeze carries the scent of salt, and the rhythm of string and drum beat in time with the meditative surf. My, but that's pretty in an entirely strange and all-encompassing sort of way. I love this on levels I didn't think I could love something that's only available for me to enjoy via my lcd screen. I see in it Van Goghs "Starry Night," and Much's "The Scream," and even a bit of Dali's colours and Dega's gorgeous lighting. I know it's all yours, of course, but it seems to have snips and bits of my very favourite artists as well:)

So Brazilian it hurts. Awesome art.

I am not so obtuse I cannot recognize common sense when I hear it, and not so polite not to scorn of he(or she) who speaks of such trifles.
